K1 Funding from FH Aachen – A Strong Support Framework for ATHMO

Each year, the Commission for Studies and Teaching (K1) at FH Aachen supports a selection of outstanding student-led projects. Students are invited to submit proposals in collaboration with a full-time academic supervisor, and the K1 commission then decides on which projects will receive official funding.

Why is this important?

Technical Validation:

The K1 program not only supports our concept but also recognizes the scientific and hands-on quality of our work.

Financial Support:

This funding allows us to invest in essential materials, tools, and services to accelerate our development.

Being selected by the K1 commission gives us the backing of the university itself – something that motivates us in our daily work.

ATHMO receives K1 funding for 2025

We are incredibly excited to announce that ATHMO has officially been selected as a K1-funded project in 2025!

This recognition and support enables us to take the next big steps: from structural integration and avionics development to further expanding our launch system.
